Worship And Music
Choose a Worship Style that fits your busy life!
'Emergent' rejoice & believe Services--9:30 a.m. First and third Sundays
Perhaps your own worship preference is informal. You like modern music and an open atmosphere. Then, Rejoice & Believe is perfect for you! Rejoice & Believe is structured around modern music, dramatic visuals, art, drama, monologues, and an open, questioning theology. Rejoice & Believe is tomorrow's style of worship today!
traditional worship--10:30 a.m. every sunday
Maybe you and your family are more familiar with tradtional worship. Tradtional worship, held every Sunday at 10:30 a.m., features organ music, bell choirs, an adult choir and traditional hymns. Traditional worship will help you 'lose yourself' in contemplating God's glory and majesty. Traditional hymns will bring you back to another moment in your life and help you relive that simpler time; a sermon will move you to a deeper understanding of God; the music of Tabor's choir will help you put aside the bustle of work; the bread and wine of communion will help you get lost in the mystery of God's love. Don't wait for God is calling you today!

Bible Studies Mondays at 6:30 p.m. Thursdays at 10: 00 a.m.

Sunday School
Tabor’s Sunday program of religious education is designed to serve all ages, from infant through adult, and includes confirmation and membership classes, Bible Study classes, and Discussion groups. Click here for more photos.
Nursery Class – Nursery services are available during the Sunday School hour for children under four years old.
Primary Class - Children in the primary room will hear different Bible stories each week taking them on a journey through the entire Bible. A variety of music, crafts, snacks, and games round out this program for children aged 5 years through 5th grade.
Middle School – This program changes yearly based on the needs of the students in the class, but it’s always a relaxed and fun way to explore faith and Christian life.
High School – Joining the High School Sunday School with Tabor’s Youth Group has allowed for more time discussing and studying the Bible and provided a closer sense of community among our teens.
Discussion Class – Whether or not you’re comfortable sharing stories about your faith, this class offers a stress-free setting to voice prayer concerns, ask questions, and explore everything from raising Christian children to personal salvation.
Adult Class – The leaders of the adult class choose lesson topics from a variety of sources, including current events from newspapers, internet sites, and magazines, as well as historical lectures and personal stories.
Senior Choir
Tabor’s Senior Choir recently celebrated 50 years of singing praises to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Senior Choir sings at all Worship services from September through June, and also presents a special Cantata each year at Christmastime. Choir practices are held each Wednesday, at 7:30 p.m., and are open to anyone who enjoys singing and fellowship.
Bell Choir
The Bell Choir is composed of 13 members and practices Mondays at 7:30 p.m. They perform selections several times throughout the year, including Lent, Red Rose Sunday, Fall and Christmas Eve. Qualifications for membership in Tabor’s Bell Choir are quite simple: you do not need to be a musician, nor do you need to read music. If you can count from one to four, you’re in! Contact director Renee Haag with questions.
Children’s Chime Choir
Director Renee Haag formed the Children’s Chime Choir several years ago, hoping to give the experience of music to children in second grade and above. Practices are held Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. During these rehearsals, Renee teaches the children a basic knowledge of music and strives to foster a joy for music, all the while introducing a new method of expressing love and praise to God.
